Hi, friends welcome to my blog G1 HiTech. In this post, we will be going to know the answer to a question Why does milk overflow during boiling but water does not?
Before we start we must be aware of the fact that milk is not a normal liquid like water.
Milk is far more complex and it is made up of water, lactose, proteins, and fat.
When you boil milk, the protein and fat rise to the top and form a layer of cream. Yep, that exact creamy layer which most of you don’t like in your milk.😐
The water in milk also boils and comes up as vapor, but the vapor cannot escape as it is trapped below the cream.🧐
So, when milk becomes hot, the vapor starts to expand but since it is trapped under the cream, it pushes the cream upwards and so, the milk spills over.🙁
How can you prevent the milk from spilling?
Simple, take a spoon🥄 and stir the milk. This way the water vapor will not get trapped under the cream and the milk will not spill over.👍

| Milk Overflowing |
Friends, whenever my mom boil milk she just has to keep standing in front of it to make sure that she doesn't waste any milk, but one day I questioned myself that Why does milk even overflow? In the case of water,
it doesn't happen. What makes milk to behave like this?
Then I decided to know what is the reason behind this and I searched about this topic in Google and I got the answers to my questions and now I am sharing those with you.
